Been coming here FOR YEARS. Never again. I went in yesterday to see if they can stop my car from overheating. They tell me it's either the thermostat or the waterpump. One costs 180 the other 480. Of course I went with the cheaper option. Turns out that wasn't it. As matter of fact, they told me there's no guarantee that either option was a solution. So they installed he thermostat Free of charge. I get my car back 30 minutes later and it starts smoking from the hood. Clearly something that they caused. They Told me in order to Fix this BRAND NEW ISSUE it'll cost upwards from $480-$550. INSANE. I'm not made of money and I shouldn't be paying for something that y…

I've used their services for any of my exhaust needs. Just today (11/25/24) I had a flex pipe welded on since my Factory one rusted off. 20 mins in and out. Brought my other car into their shop back in late 2020 / early 2021 for a custom exhaust. They worked to see what my needs were and made it happen. That exhaust is still holding strong today with no weld breaks or rust. Testament to their quality of work and product.

These guys are great! I have lived in the area for about 4 years and each time I've needed anything done on my car these guys have taken really good care of me and my car! They are really reasonable and trustworthy. I highly recommend Velasquez in Villa Park!

I really like this place and have been coming for oil changes and small repairs for many years now. They seem fair on pricing and the oil changes are the more reasonable priced I've found. I've read reviews about the appearance of their shop and yeah if your looking for the cleanest place with the highest customer service skills you might be concerned but coming from a family of mechanics, neither of those things matter to me. I want honesty and like to get straight to the point. I appreciate all the staff here and they recognize me when I come in. The best places are the hidden gems and I feel this is one.
